We are looking at a modern interpretation of Mediterranean Country style. Varnished surfaces provide the room with a soft, naïve atmosphere. The use of mixed lampshades reflects the mix of people in a casual friendly gathering - different colours within the same colour range remind us of different characters within the same family.
The flower vases on the table consist of test tubes sunk into the wood, thus making it impossible to knock over the flowers and leaving the view onto the lunching partners unobstructed, whilst still providing the flower decoration.
The wall-mounted plate as the classic ingredient of farmhouse style is re-defined as a wall-mounted light panel.
